The Victoria Project was created in response to the rising maternal healthcare crisis in the United States. Our mission is to increase healthy outcomes for mothers, pregnant people and their families by offering accessible maternity care choices based in the Midwifery model. Through direct funding, education and advocacy, we are teaming up with Trusted Partners to improve the health and well-being of mothers, parents and newborns, particularly for those most at risk.
The Victoria Project is changing MATERNITY CARe.

Our values
-
We honor that trust must be earned and we make every effort to work with our family beneficiaries and practitioners to develop trust by creating clear communication pathways, expectations and avenues for feedback.
Trust, choice and safety go hand in hand. Families who are able to choose their maternity care providers often feel safer and have more positive pregnancy and birth outcomes.
At TVP we support families in having a true choices in their childbirth journey.
-
We value the dignity of every person that interacts with our organization.
We recognize that pregnant families in America often find themselves vulnerable in a broken system with high rates of mortality and morbidity, confounded by racial and social disparities. The process of asking for financial assistance can add to this vulnerability.
A family's journey with TVP begins at the intake process and ends after their care has finished. We believe that this entire process deserves reverence and dignity.
-
We believe each individual knows what is best for them and we hope to empower families in places where doubt and conditioning has encouraged them otherwise.
When parents feel equipped with knowledge and community support they no longer hand their decision making power over to others.
